| When I went to get my EZ Angle ruler out I found a Quilt in a Day Flying Geese ruler that I have never used and forgot that I had. Since I had done such a poor job on my previous flying geese I decided to give it a try. I think my results were good, but it was more labor intensive. |

| Probably about half done here. I think if we make more I'll go back to the EZ angle and just try to do a better job. |

| They are cute little things. I was thinking while I was trimming that my father always said he'd been "where the wild goose goes" when he'd go off in the afternoon. I don't think any of us ever found out where that was, maybe not even my mother, lol, but I think that if the geese show up well in the quilt mine won't be "Easy Street", it'll be "Where the Wild Goose Goes" for my father. It's a shame that it's such girly colors, but I don't know that I enjoy making them enough to make another quilt with a lot of geese. |

| The browns look nice by themselves, hopefully they'll play nice with the yellows, pinks and blues. |

| All my parts so far. I don't even try to imagine how it will go together as I don't doubt but what I'd be wrong. I imagine from previous mysteries that some of this could go in the borders. Hmmm, guess we'll know in a couple of weeks or so. Have you ever tried the no waste flying geese way. It is much easy and faster than the other ways. Give it a try and let me know how you like it. It is the only way I make geese anymore, They are enjoyable to make now with this method.
I often think that rulers that are devised to make a particular quilting technique easier are often more fiddly. Tried and tested methods usually work better and there are so many different ways of making flying geese that I'm sure you could find a way that suits you. Quilters Cache have three different methods. If I'm making a lot I like the 'making four at a time' method, which I think is the no waste method that Ann Marie is talking about.
It is coming along beautifully and I'm sure the browns will play nice.
I love all the fabrics you're using! The variety will make your quilt really fun. I'm looking forward to seeing the browns get added - I like brown a lot, myself.
