Picture Overload

I have been very busy sewing, putting in 8 to 12 hour days for the last 5 or 6 days, these items are what I have to show for it.  Seems like there should be more, lol.  This is a smaller version that I winged as I went, of the Temple bags from My Quilt Diet's blog.  It's for my 5 year old granddaughter for an overnight type bag.s f

The smaller versions front and flap.

Her Mama, Marcy's full sized version.

Marcy's back.

Marcy's inside and flap.

A comparison of the two sizes.

Mine.  I keep giving mine away, maybe this one will stick.

The back of mine.

And the inside and flap of mine.

My visiting teacher Becky's back.

Becky's inside and flap, I seem to have lost the picture of her front momentarily.

A Spider Man and Marvel heroes travel pillowcase for my 2 year old grandson.

My grandson is visiting his brother, another grandson, in Germany and he informed me that his girlfriend will be traveling with him and having a birthday while they're gone.  This is a gift for her, a large bag with 10 pockets and a zipper top.  Hopefully, handy while traveling.

A totebag for the 2 year old.

Zipper pouches for the 5 year old great-granddaughter, and the 2 year old great-grandson.
The insides.  Spider man and Paris.  While the visit is going on, they plan to all visit there.
And the missing front.  These Temple bags are pretty labor intensive, thus the hard day's labor.

Tote Bag Boo-boo

I've made 100 of these, so how could I have made one and not realized until I finished that I forgot to add the pockets that I had prepared.  So, I can't do a bag with no pockets, so I made another and almost forgot again.

More Small Totes

Two more little girls coming for Memorial Day, so needed two more little totes.  Had a sleepless night so why not sew.

More Tote Bags and International Magnets

We are having family pictures on Memorial Day, and so I made tote bags for my great-granddaughter from Palm Bay, and my great-granddaughter from Germany.  They both like Minnie.  I made them a little bigger than I had thought they'd turn out, but they are still relatively small, hopefully not too big for a 3 year old, and a 4 year old.

The side of my refrigerator, and magnets from my grandson and granddaughter-in-laws year in California and their time in Germany.  They gave me the little working cookoo clock last visit, and the bear (if you pull the bottom string, he dances), the bottom magnet, and the Paris magnet this trip.  I'm a refrigerator magnet lover.

A New Great-Grandbaby

Aurora, a wee bit of joy after the sadness.  She was born the 29th, she's healthy and beautiful.  Mommy is doing well, too.  Sorry, it's a blurry cell phone picture,
A little better picture, the next day.  Aurora, and her four year old cousin, Dominic.

Two of the three Gator bags made for my daughter, me, and a nurse at the Shand's Hospital pain management department, where my husband is a patient.

Some mindless crochet, which was what I needed.  It's about 80 by 50, and if my husband likes it, will be for him.

I bought 5 skeins of yarn, but both ends are using up pieces of yarn.  Now, I'm out of yarn except for some old scratchy yarn that I bought years ago.  This was made from "I love this yarn" from Hobby Lobby. Very soft, squishy stuff.

Afghan, Mystery, and Bag

I asked my son if he'd like an afghan like he had in his youth, he said yes, so I finished this one in record time, and it will be in the mail tomorrow.  Hope he likes it.

Wasn't sure if I was going to do the mystery this year from Quiltville, but I was at a fabric store the other day, and got these for half price with another 25% off, so I guess, I'm in.

I don't have the big stacks of fabrics that many are showing, but between what yardage that I have and my scraps, I think I'll come out ok.

I thought when I did number fourteen bag that I was finished, but I gave mine away, so here is number fifteen, so I have one, too.  I 'really' think that this was the last.

Number Fourteen

I only meant to make one Christmas bag, and instead I just finished number fourteen.  I hope it's the last of the group.

Two More for My Daughter's Daughters

My daughter liked hers, and so two more were in order.  One for my 22 year old granddaughter, and one for my 10 year old granddaughter.

Daughter's Fall Bag

My daughter had her Halloween bag still and mentioned that she didn't have a fall bag, so we went to Hobby Lobby and she picked some fabrics.  I went home and cut it out, and then got up at 3:30 (2:30 with the time change and finished it about 8:30 (time change confusion), so it took a little over 7 hours, but it is finished and kind of cute, so hope she likes it.   There's one big pocket here on the front, wide enough to get your hand in comfortably and deep enough not to be spilling things out.

This one has a zipper, and pockets inside, too.  I had a senior attack, I guess, as I meant to sew divisions in the long pocket but forgot.  I did put 3 safety pins in it after I took the picture, so now it has a jury rigged division.  Lazy, but hopefully, effective.
