Orange Crush - Step 3

A more subdued - Yeah me. Step 3 is done, and it was a snap after steps 1 and 2. The fabric they are laying on is my yardage for step 4. Thanks to Bonnie's needing another week, I think that I will finally catch up. I may even have time to work on step 3 of my CC. I think that on my scrappies many of my lights are too dark, and many of my darks are too light, so I am hoping that the pattern will show up correctly. I am anxious to see how mine and everybody elses OC's turn out. I am just trusting Bonnie, and all the beautiful quilts on her site. I tried to copy her colors, but I can see from the picture that my black shows up more as a gray, so I guess I'll have to wait and see. I'm hoping the blue and the orange (yeah, Gators) (that was for my brother) give it pizazz.

Your Oc is looking good! I think it will all work out in the end. And yes, I'm glad that Bonnie is giving us another week.

Congratulations of step 3. I'm a little nervous about my colors as well, but what's the worst that could happen?

Step 3 was easy wasn't it? I think 4 will be too though a,lot of people seem to have reversed the spinning star direction so I will be cautious about it. Don't worry about your color choices, it will be fine everyone's are so different.I haven't started step 4 either, I had too many "commitment" quilts to make & now I have a couple I absolutely must LA this week!
Next week, back to the OC!

I think your step 3 looks great! I was a bit doubtful about my color choices at first, but decided to just go with it....and have fun.

Thank you very much for visiting, Candace. I'm so sorry about all the troubles you guys are having with fires. You do get hit a lot with all the hurricanes and now fires. We're doing OK here in Illinois for now.... but we do worry about tornadoes. Have a happy "normal" precious day tomorrow.

Your blocks look great. I like the red fabric you will be using. I have a weakness for reds myself. I think it comes from falling in love with Freddie Moran quilts when I first learned.
