I Need Another Project (Not)

Let's see, I have my second RRCB, my second Paintbox, my Iowa (Carolina) Christmas, the last half of Amy's BOM sampler from 2010 and a couple of other quilts to finish, not to mention the baby quilt that I have in progress.   I have the top back and batting ready for the baby quilt, but can't finish it until I have a definite birth date.   Also, I have 10 pillowcases to do by the end of August at the latest.  Sooo, what did I do.  Yes, you are right.  I started 3 quilt alongs.   I have already blogged about the Summer Bow Tie Quilt Along, and I have Cheddar fabric coming today for Bonnie Hunter's Sister's 2011 Leader/Ender Challenge.   So, of course, I needed to start another quilt along, as things come in threes.  These blocks are my first six from Crazy Mom Quilts 36 Patch Quilt along.     The only good thing is that I'm using up lots of scraps.

LOL! I'm with ya Candace!!! I whipped up my first 36-block yesterday ;0)
We just need to keep telling ourselves that all these new starts lead to THAT many more finishes...

You almost got me Candace........ I even looked online for cheddar fabric.

Common sense reared its ugly head and I backed off.........

I think I have a few more on my list already than you do.....

Thanks for keeping me up to date as to what is going on........

NEED is a very strong word. It is nice to have new project though to use up all the fabric that we have lying around. How else could we justify buying more fabric? Your 36 patches look great and I bet your scrap drawer is already feeling emptier.

I know just how you feel Candace. I find myself drawn to doing the 36 patch blocks and the cheddar challenge. I did go and pull a 2 yard piece of a yellow that's not quite cheddar, but it will do. I may even use more than one and make it really scrappy. I'm seriously considering getting an accuquilt go to help cut up all these scraps I've got.
