| I think SoScrappy has created a monster. I seem to be like eating Lay's potato chips, I can't stop at just one Rainbow Scrap Quilt. Today I ran across Don't Call Me Betsy's QAL from 2011, "Kaleidoscope", and I was so tempted, and then I thought, I was tempted before by Elaine Adairs beautiful Kaleidoscope quilts, so I kind of mixed them together. I didn't have Elaine's big ruler, so I used Elizabeth's (she said don't call her Betsy) dimensions, and Elaine's strips. I only got enough for 7 cuts from my strip set so I had to do two strip sets for one block. I know I'll get better at these. Bad news, I have to go back and make a pink one and a purple one for January and February's colors. |

I'm not surprised you've managed so much sewing over the last weeks, keeping your mind occupied. Once Ernie comes home you won't get much done, but I'm sure you won't mind that. Best wishes to you both.
Angela does do that to you doesn't she. I can't remember how many I
started in Pink, didn't get any sewing done in Feb, but I will make up for it in April if I don't get caught up this month.

Your orange projects all look yummy! I have the same problem - I get an idea and have to try it out. Next thing you know I've got 4 or 5 quilts under way at one time. Best wishes for a smooth realignment on the home front!
I hear exactly where you're coming from! I am finding other things I should create with the scraps, so I started some new items on the orange series. Now, I, too, am behind and have to go back to the purple and pink bins to catch up! The RSC is such a simple series with a HUGE impact.

That kaleidoscope block is inspiring. I tried one years ago and it didn't really work, will have to put it back on my mental to do list after seeing this one.
