My Scrappy Lattice is finished and I love how it turned out, Old-Timey looking as all get out. It may be one of the two or three favorites that I've made. |
Sorry about the bad lighting. |
It's huge on every side, but it hasn't been washed yet. I don't think it'll be too small if it shrinks a few inches. |

How wonderful! I love it. A scrappy delight. The back is great too.
Congrats on a great finish!
And I LOVE that quilt stand at the foot of the bed with all the lovely quilts on it...what a great quilty room!
I really like your scrappy quilt, it looks like a scrappy quilt should - scraps but tied together with the same design and the same coloured lattice. And it's huge! It must have been a beast to quilt. What sort of wadding do you use that lets it drape so beautifully at the corners?
I meant to ask - what size are the finished blocks?
Love your scrappy lattice. Even with all the variety, the white ties it all together beautifully.
Candace--this quilt is so pretty! I'm sort of feeling like a fool for never taking a sharpie to my linens...I've just put them on wrong the first time every single week. Thanks for the helpful hint.

Oh Candace!!!! How I WISH WISH WISH I would have seen this post earlier! The controlled scrappiness with the white lattice is amazing!!!! I started a similar quilt, but went COMPLETELY scrappy; lattice and all; definitely not to my liking. I'll have to switch over to white lattice and use the blocks I've made so far in the back.
very nice quilt. I had never considered doing a scrappy binding but it is very cute on your quilt - gonna have to try that.
I love it and I love the idea of the scraps on the back tell you which way is up. Might be doing that myself in future!
