First Quilt Finishes for 2011

Finally, two finishes.  This one is for my cousin Michelle, who is the age of my niece.   These were her wedding colors.

And this one is for Tina, my granddaughter-in-law's mother who is an expert on geneology and who did our family a very important favor and service.   Now, I am torn between finishing my Paintbox quilts, finishing my Iowa (Carolina) Christmas, or working on my RRCB.   I have a sneaky suspicion that I'll be finishing my Paintbox quilts.   I'm on a roll now for finishing projects.

Good job! They look great. Quilts just come to life when they are quilted. I know they will like them. Two finishes already! Woo hoo for you, now flip a coin and decide which one you are going to work on!

Love this quilt! The colors are wonderful! It's that blend of light blue with the scrappy patches that draws me to looking at it. It's such a pretty shade of blue.

When I came home today I had the package. Sooo excited to see the quilt. It is beautiful. I will call tomorrow, but want to post how thankful I am for you making this for me. I have always wanted a quilt, I do not have one, When I go to Cracker Barrell I look at them wishing. NOW I have one. It fits my bed perfectly, but almost hate using it, dont want to mess it up. Love the colors. You did a wonderful job. Thank you, Thank you! Tina Sansone

THANKS for sharing your quiltmaking with Tina. We know her from her work in the world of genealogy.

Because she told us about the quilt you made for her on our Genea-Quilter's Facebook page, we learned about you, Candice.

You can bet I've become one of your faithful followers!
