Carolina (Iowa) Christmas Before Borders

I had to unsew about 100 inches, but I have finally gotten my Iowa Christmas top together. I have all the little blocks done for the borders, just need to sew them in a long row and sew them on. Hopefully, no fudging will be necessary.

That looks terrific; it's going to be huge with borders as well, so I look forward to seeing it. Another one to add to the quilting pile!

Iowa Christmas is a real stunner. It looks great with the sashing strips. You are making me regret not making this one. Glad to be able to live vicariously through others though.

It looks fabulous already . . . the pieced borders will really put this top, "over the top" (meant in the best way).

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind words (and prayers).

I like this with the sashing. I haven't made it yet because it just seemed so "busy" to me. You may have inspired me.
