Afghan

I finished my crocheted afghan.  It has the better part of 8 skeins of yarn and has already been used by my husband last night.  My kids weren't raised with quilts, they were raised with afghans just like this one, that their grandmother and I made.  I know my daughter is going to be jealous.

WOW--that is really lovely--did you use the afghan stitch or is it crocheted?? I like the color bands a lot Julierose

That looks lovely, and very cosy. I'm always full of admiration of people who can crochet and then sustain their interest to make such a large piece. No wonder your husband has claimed it.

gorgeous ... I cannot tell you how many times I've started a ripple/chevron 'ghan and stopped. It's hard for me. Don't know why. Yours came out great!
