DH has been under the weather with a cold and bad back. This afternoon he felt a bit better and thought it might do us both good to get out and do a little walking. In our town on Sunday mornings there is a farmer market in the main street, so we walked along looking at fruits and veggies and jewelry and furniture and such. One man was a woodworker and he had made this little bench last night. I moved the leather recliner in my sewing room closer to the TV yesterday and needed a little table to hold the remote, my cell, my kindle or whatever. He had made it yesterday and only wanted ten dollars for it and I thought it was worth a try. I think it'll work, it could be a little taller, but I can reach it. |

WOW! Look at those colours! We are all waiting for the next step to see if we can get a drift of how this is all going to come together.
Absolutely love the orange and black - your quilt is going to be so interesting. such fun seeing everybodys different interpretations of the same pattern.
Guessing where everything will go is all part of the fun with a mystery. Great work on keeping up so far.
LOVE those colours - can't wait to see the next step. and lol - love that little stool! very cute!
Your colors are fabulous!! I love seeing it all come together. I can't wait to use the main color as well. Love the "time out" table :) Please someone give me a time out in my sewing room!
Great going, I love your fabrics! I was too chicken to go with other colors, maybe I'll do that on the next one!
Great fabric for your mystery quilt! Your little stool is so cute and I had to laugh at you giving your husband time-out!
Lovely colors. It will be a great quilt.
I love your fabrics! I can't wait to use the new color too.
Love the colors! And that time out stool--LOL. I think there are several of us that could use a reward time out. :) Someone please send me to my room.
I really like all of the mystery and speculation surrounding the Orca Bay quilt-along. When my kids were younger I would tell them I would like to be sent to my room for a time-out!
Your colors look great! I can't wait to use that third color too and see them together in pieces. It's hard to imagine that big quilt coming out of all these little blocks, isn't it? It will be fun to see what it turns out to be.
All your colors mixed together reminds me of a warm, sunny vacation on a tropical isle - love it! And who knew you were a fellow fabric collector?! Singer 301s make great machines for piecing - love mine, too. ;-)
Your colours are so nice. Your quilt will be awesome!
Love your colors! And can't wait either for the next steps of Orca Bay!
Your colors are so wonderful -- how brave of you! I can't wait to see what you choose next.
This is a fun Mystery. My first with Bonnie -- so far, so good. lol.
Your stool is a RIOT! How darling.
Hugs,
Cyn; -)
Love your work, but the trouble with visiting is that you see so many good ideas! Your use of orange was a brillant one
What are you going to call your quilt ? I"'m dying to see how it will end up. My husband was also ill on Sunday, nothing serious, but youpi (as we say in French), the sewing room was mine for all day !
