oh, Fransson Paintbox Quilt Along Week 1

I've been a sewing fool the last day or two, and have gotten my first Paintbox blocks done. I'm pretty pleased with them, and hope to keep up. I discovered that I was cutting threads like mad, and I had a lightbulb moment. This is why people do Bonnie Hunter's leaders and enders. I remembered some half done leftover 4 patches, dug them out of my closet, and now have a nice little stack done and pressed.

Hello,
New to your blog and appreciate your comment on my blog. I am making them into tote bags for my 2 daughters. I just finished the free motion quilting and getting the back and sides cut. Now for assembly. The sea world post was so lovely.. Would love to see that.

The blocks are great, you motivated me to order a jelly roll of solids yesterday. I think I'll make a few of those when it comes in. I'm so glad you are a leaders and enders convert now -- more UFOs in the making!
