Yesterday, I also got 2 other things in the mail, but didn't have the picture handy on the magazine, and just had a cardboard box on the desk. I got the magazine on Amy's recommendation, she made the cover quilt, and plus it has one of Bonnie Hunter's quilts included. I haven't read it yet, but may tonight while my husband watches his Red Sox. The little desk is a cheapie from Target for my Janome Jem. I wanted to keep it in the family room for when we have company using my sewing room to sleep in.
Also, I have picked out the fabrics for a Turning Twelve quilt that I'm making for my dentist's four year old son. I'm going to try to quilt this one myself, worse comes to worse, I guess I can tie it (lol).

Hi Candace, For the month of August I have chosen your blog to be my 'blog of the month'. I am sure you will get some extra traffic your way very soon. Hope all is well with you and your family. Jo xx
The table is the perfect size for your sewing machine and I'm sure the price was right too.
I love the colors for your Turning Twelve quilt. I bet the quilt will be gorgeous when it's done.
I am sure the 4 year old recipient of the quilt isn't undercover Quilt Police so have fun quilting it. I am sure it will be loved. have a great day!
Hi Candace
You are such a busy lady....I sometimes have trouble keeping up with you!
Sounds like you had a lovely visit with your granddaughter.....I can't wait to have grandchildren!
The turning twelve quilt fabrics are lovely...and don't sell yourself short....I am sure you will quilt it just beautifully!
I will look forward to seeing it finished.
Vanessa
I'm gonna have to go find that magazine. Turning Twelve fabrics look fun and happy... perfect for a 4yrs. old.
Hi, Candace..I like your fabric but I have a question. I have never heard of a Turning 12 quilt. Is that the same as a Turning 20 and your just using 12 fabrics to make it smaller? Or, is there a pattern for a turning 12?
I agree with Vanessa, you will probably do a wonderful job. Hugs, Linda
