DH is sleeping in this morning, so I got up and started working on RRCB. Now I have a flimsy approximately 56 by 86 inches, which is just about the size I like for couch quilts. I've been thinking about my leftovers and I have a pack of batiks, mostly blues which I have had for about 5 years, and I was thinking maybe I'll use them with the leftover pinks, greens and browns for another version of the RRCB. |
Joining you in the happy dance... Great quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt looks terrific. I don't think I'd have had the patience to stick with such a complicated pattern.

ReplyDeleteIts a beautiful quilt and the border sets if off perfectly.
ReplyDeleteDoing the happy dance of joy with you! WOW, looks great! I have been stalled on making the string blocks. I finally decided to bite the bullet and will tackle them again this afternoon! Your quilt is beautiful! And I am going to make a note of the smaller size border stuff, just in case!
ReplyDeleteIt is just beautiful. I love seeing all of the cotton boll quilts. Congratulations on finishing the top.
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful Candace - you did a wonderful job of it. Lots of pieces in that quilt.
ReplyDeleteI have made a couple of Bonnie's patterns from her website- the one I just completed was her Twisted Strips pattern. It is pretty quick to make and I was happy the way it turned out. It was a queen sized quilt for my aunt and uncle.
I will look forward to seeing your next pattern.
Warmest regards,
Anna

It's the most wonderful Roll, Roll Cotton Boll I've seen! You did a fabulous job with your scraps! Truly beautiful! I also love how you did the label on the back with your embroidery machine. I'm going to have to try that. Thank you for sharing!
